100 word challenge

Congratulations to Megan Wood who is Class 8’s winner for week 1 of the 100 word challenge. This is her entry:

Looking down, I was surprised to see a bright, beautiful crystal clear river. The fish swimming around in the water were a beautiful sight. There were fluffy little ducklings darting round the stream like a racing car. But in the corner of my eye I saw a dark, faint shadow rustling through the crunching leaves. What was it I thought. But as it got more visible I could make out that it was a sharp, prickly hedgehog sniffing around the trees. It was a lovely little hedgehog. He was hunting for berries and things to eat. But off he trotted back into the darkness.

  1. I think that she could of tried to put looking down I was surprised to see in the middle but otherwise I thought it was absolutely amazing.you deserve it Megan.
Mrs Lyons are you doing any clubs this year?
    Lorna!

  2. I could make it more discriptive but I couldn’t as we could only use 100 words but if it was a story setting I would have discribed it more
