100 Word Challenge Week 5

Well done to Megan Wood who wrote part of the next chapter for this weeks challenge.

“Come on we have to leave now!”

“Why?”

But as they both started running something emerged from inside the mysterious mansion. As it did so another odd creature crept out and tripped both Jess and Tom over. Quickly they turned round and noticed a sharp-toothed dog standing barking at their feet.

After this the strange man grabbed the children and dragged them inside the mansion. For what seemed like an eternity, they were pulled along in darkness. Suddenly Tom and Jess found themselves in a brightly lit science lab full of deadly potions and dangerous explosives.

“Ahhhhh!” They both screamed.

100 Word Challenge Week 4

Congratualtions to Lorna Collinson for winning this weeks 100 Word Challenge. Well done.

Dear Child,

We all know what you’ve been through and how much it hurts but you have to be strong and carry on. You may not know who I am but I’ve been thinking of you since the day the typhoon started. Put the past behind you and think about how bright your future could be. I would just like to say that you are amazing for being so strong and walking through all the pain that you have been through.  You may have lost some of your family but as you grow older you will make your own family.

100 Word Challenge Week 3

I look around,

On the battleground,

And don’t seem awfully pleased.

I see bodies and leftovers of the recently deceased.

They died with bravery and soul,

But most importantly, they gave their all.

Congratualtions to Natasha Muskett for this beautiful and heartfelt piece of writing.

On the eleventh of November,

Not yet collapsing down in Decemer,

I think it’s for the best if we all sit down,

Remember.

Remembrance day is the time to reflect on the war and the courageous soldiers who served in it. They did this because they care, care about our futures. So that we could be the people we are now. What an adventure they had. Remember.
